I recently received my first-ever crypto airdrop through Binance Alpha, and it turned out to be more rewarding than I expected. The token I got was NEXPACE (NXPC) from the upcoming MapleStory Universe, a Web3 project by Nexon, the same company behind the classic MapleStory game.

What Is Binance Alpha?
Binance Alpha is a rewards program on the Binance app. You earn Alpha Points two ways:
- Balance Points – Based on how much crypto you hold (more points for higher balances).
- Volume Points – Based on how much you buy of selected tokens (more points as your purchase volumes double).
Points accumulate over a 15-day rolling window. Once you have 200+ points, you can join Alpha Events (airdrops or token launches), which each cost 15 points to enter.

How I Got the NEXPACE (NXPC) Airdrop
I followed this guide and earned over 200 Alpha Points within 15 days. That’s the optimum you need to qualify for airdrops.
Not long after, I received 198 NXPC tokens directly into my Binance account. I later sold them for USD $277, which is around RM1,200+. All of this came from doing free daily tasks without much upfront cost or risk.
Note** One hard lesson I learned when selling the coin was that I shouldn’t have sold it all at once. I should have sold half first to see whether it was just hype, because this NXPC airdrop would have been worth about $600 ,which is around RM2,700+ if I’d held on and sold later.
How Alpha Points and Airdrops Work
- You need at least 200 Alpha Points on average to be eligible for airdrops
- Claiming an airdrop or TGE (token launch) will deduct 15 points
- Many of these airdrops are valued at $90 or more, making them one of the easiest ways to earn crypto.
What is NEXPACE (NXPC)?
NEXPACE (NXPC) is the token used in MapleStory Universe, a new blockchain-based version of the popular MMORPG. It powers the in-game economy and allows players to trade and own digital assets. Since it’s backed by Nexon, a major gaming company, NXPC has strong potential in the Web3 gaming space.
Final Thoughts
This was my first time getting a crypto airdrop and it turned out to be a great introduction to how Web3 rewards actually work. I didn’t have to invest money or do anything complicated. Just by being active on Binance for a few minutes a day, I was able to earn and cash out real crypto.
