AI, Crypto & Free Food: My Visit to Aifeex’s “AI Financial Era 2025” Summit in KL

Date: 8th June 2025
Location: Oriental Star Restaurant (港城酒家) EkoCheras Mall, Kuala Lumpur
Event: Aifeex – AI Financial Era of 2025 Summit

🥡 Why I Went: Curiosity and Free Food

If you’re into crypto or just enjoy exploring tech events, you’ve probably noticed a growing number of them happening around KL. Many of these events offer free entry, free talks, and yes, free food.

So when a friend invited me to an Aifeex event called the “AI Financial Era of 2025” summit at EkoCheras, I figured why not. I went with zero expectations. Mainly just wanted to hang out, check out the vibes, and enjoy the refreshments.

🤖 The Event Vibes

The setup looked professional with banners, speakers, and a good crowd. Some attendees were in suits, others in T-shirts and jeans. There were presentations going on, but to be honest, I wasn’t paying much attention. I was mostly focused on the food table.

For a free event, the food wasn’t bad at all. It’s interesting to see how more companies are using events like this to attract people with a mix of tech talk and lifestyle perks. Whether you’re a crypto newbie or a seasoned investor, events like these can be a fun way to spend your weekend.

🍱 Some Food Highlights

One of the unexpected highlights of the event was the food. For a free crypto event, the selection was quite decent. Below are some pictures of the food being served during the summit:

If you are a vegetarian, only two dishes were available.

🛫 Their Ads Were Even at the Airport

Interestingly, Aifeex had some promotional ads displayed at the airport too. That definitely caught my attention when I saw it. You can check out one of the photos I managed to take below:

🧠 A Quick Reminder for Newcomers

That said, just because an event looks professional and comes with a nice buffet doesn’t mean everything being pitched is worth your money. In KL especially, we’re seeing a rise in events that mix crypto, AI, and investment talk. Some of them might be legit, while others may not be.

So here’s something I always remind friends and readers:

  • Enjoy the food, enjoy the experience, meet new people.
  • But don’t feel pressured to invest in anything.
  • Always take time to do your own research (DYOR) before putting your money into any platform.

✅ Simple DYOR Tips

  • Google the company and see what others are saying
  • Check for independent reviews on Reddit or Trustpilot
  • Ask around in local crypto communities or Telegram groups
  • Look up whether they are registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia or Labuan FSA

💬 Final Thoughts

I didn’t leave the event with any plans to invest, but I did leave with a full stomach. These kinds of events are becoming more common in Malaysia’s growing crypto scene. They’re great for networking, people-watching, or just killing time on a weekend. Just remember to stay sharp and not get caught up in flashy promises or hype.
